Not really devvie/life's progress related news, but||

Last weekend I took my now show-ready buns to er...well...a show. It was my first time showing my new stock so it was a good opportunity to see how they fared. My chocolate does dominated the class. Sunnie took best of variety with Elizabeth and Holly taking second and third place respectively. Edward (buck) didn't quite make the cut, he got second in the senior buck class, so he didn't get to go against the other varieties with his sister, Sunnie. Sunnie did...not good...when it came time to pit her against the other dutch varieties. Although I suppose it would be more accurate to say the chocolate dutch was not in the judge's eye that day. She took painstaking time looking over all the others, five seconds on Sunnie, and didn't even glance at the chocolate buck that had made it. So, I was a little disappointed about that. But I understand that my chocolates at the moment lack that full roundness of the back when posed.

But more importantly: While I was at that show I met Billy Bounds, one of the most crackalackin, and yes, I did just say crackalackin, dutch breeders in America. -squee- He was so nice, and helpful, and, and, he GAVE me a brood buck when I told him I was interested in starting to breed grey dutch. O3O Holy shizznit. We named him formally Bedivere, with the honorable nickname of 'Billy'. Mr. Bounds also offered to get me a brood doe, but we've already secured one. Which brings me to another exciting bit of news: While getting that brood doe (and her daughter), we also lucked out on an awesome tort dutch. He one the dutch class at nationals. How much did I pay for him? $15. And only because the girl was getting out of rabbits and needed to get rid of them. And he's worth every penny and more. Awesome type, good colouring, nice markings. -squee- 8D

BOOYAH.

In other news I've dyed my hair burgundy. I plan on getting a short bob, angled bob, or some sort of short shag cut on tuesday. No time like a break to do something drastic with your hair, eh?

Thanks for the watch :D
Btw, you guys are lucky to have tennis and suchlike in gym. When I went to school it was skiing and skating all winter, and otherwise soccer or baseball!
:iconzincdragon:
No problem!

D: Skiing? Ice skating? I'd rather do that than tenis. (I could live without the soccer though)

Thanks for the watch :D

So long. Well, not really. Whenever you get this... well... I guess respond would be the point I'm driving at but that's not quite what I'm trying to say here. Course I don't want to be all :( "We're all gonna miiiiiiiiissss you and we're all depressed" and crap cuz that's corny.

We aren't. Hah, try figuring out what that means!

Nothing, it's everything in a smaller package.

Hey mom, I'm going Outside! That was the last time Jimmy was found in the universe.

Proper names: watch out, all the important stuff I say is capitalized.

Life makes us realize there is nothing in the world truly perfect. But through that imperfection, we can find beauty.

Crack shipping means never having to give a reason.

Crack pairings are all about possibilities, not inevitabilities.

No problem! To be honest I've already been stalking you for a while. (just thought it was about time I made it official xD)
